Rascal Flatts!!

Had so much fun...LaSt FriDay NighhttT at the Rascal Flatts Concert. I went with my friend Megan a.k.a Meggy a.k.a Steve.
Traffic was hell Ahem. (construction) What road isn't under construction..Let me know so I can drive down that road, in peace, without any bumper to bumper traffic, weaving thru orange cones, almost killin my cars shoes in pot holes..and maybe I could learn to love driving again..maybe!

So the concert was so much fun!
We won K-bull t shirts from playing the big slot machine! We always win shirts when were together..I don't know why but it happens! Lol! (last time was at the eclipse premier.)

She sang alot of her #1 songs which are alot of my favorites and songs like "Stronger" love it!
And holy crap did u know? Cause I didn't know...she has 7 kids!!! And she also had 7 kids in her family!!!
And she looked fabulous! And her voice was Fab! Total Fabulosity!

Than last but not least!
Rascal Flatts!! They did NOT disappoint! I didn't know how they would sing live, well they were so good! And I knew it was gonna be a good concert, No! It was Amazing! I loved every minute, every song!
We danced and sang along to every song except one I didn't know.

To the great music,the dancing, singing along, awesome show, getting ready together at my house, doing meggys hair,girl talk,
and to thee obnoxious drunk people behind us that met each other at the concert for the first time and started mackin on each other, free shirts, lady with the crazy hair in front of us, the crazy traffic,yummy chik-fil-a! It was a great night!

And yes...make fun, but I do like country. So there!!!! ;)

Labor Day

We usually are at the Lodge every Labor day and doing the Rendevous in Wyoming. But because dad (Kevin) just had surgery, we stayed home. Which was just fine with us, he is doing so good, walking around and feeling a lot better. We went to discovery park in Pleasant Grove and had lunch. Dev loves this park cause its huge and has lots of stuff to do, its an all wooden park which is cool! We had my favv (bad food) friiied chicken! We had a great day spending time with our family! So blessed and grateful dad is doing so well after surgery.

Well Child Checks..BOOOO!

Khloé got her 4 mo. Old well child check this morning (she missed her 2 month) cause she was sick. So off to the Dr. we go! It was just Me, Baby K and the Nanny.
I forgot how much I hate these appointments the ones that invole shots. I just feel terrible! I worked in Family practice years ago and gave these same shots, and you feel bad, but you just do your job. But when its YOUR widdle baby..you just feel like the meanest parent on the planet!!! First they are happy, totally clueless what's going on or what's going to happen and than bam! Someone pokes them (aww..man those mean nurses!!!) Haha! And they cry and scream! :( It's so sad!! I picked her up and soothed her and she stopped crying. Her checkup went well..we love our Dr! Dr. Peterson! Everytime we come in, he comes out to get us from the waiting room and totes the carseat for us instead of him sending his M.A out to get us. We have had him be our primary caregiver well..forever! He's awesome!

What the blog app? O.m.g!

If you love to blog..but you find yourself super busy but want to document life's special or most simplist moments but yet you can't find the time..or you wait too long and forget..my smart husband told me "why don't you just download the BLOGGER app?" I was like...Genius!! Sure enough there was one and it rocks..super easy to use and im able to blog in the car or wherever all on my phone and its faster than on my computer! Advice: Download the Blogger app on the Android Market. I love it! :)

Kudos for Khlanaynay!

First two nights sleeping in her crib (even with the sniffles and cold)...SUCCESS!!

I'm not gonna lie..I was nervous we'd have a hard time converting from bassinet that automatically glides and swing well that swings to plain ol' Mr. Crib that doesn't do any tricks..well It does rock when you push it (so not the same)..haha. We knew it was time for the Crib, Especially since she learned that if she stretched out her legs and pushed up she would wiggle out of her swing belt fastens..and roll out and on to the floor!!! So After the 2nd Incident...and she pushes up in her basinett until her head is smashed against the top of the bassinet and she cries..we agreed its time for the Crib!

Gave her some milk..laid her on her side and she was out! Good job Nayner girl!

Two fistin it!

Give the girl a teether, a toy, a stuffed a paci, you name it she'll try to eat it! And when all else fails..she eats her hands {at the same time!!} pics are self explaintory haha. She is the drool queen! She cannot b with out a bibby or she'll soak the entire front of her onesie.."oh my nanyer girl..".

She coos "Hiiiii!"
Smiles at everything..
Loves to eat fruits and veggies already! *fattie pattie*
Loves baths and showers from Day 1
Has baby patterned baldness " as her dad calls it"
Likes to sit up in her bumbo (sitting up period, if u lay her on her back she tries to do a baby sit up lol)
Loves her swing!
Loves her singing carseat toy
Likes it when her sissy makes her giggle
Death grips her toys and eats them
Loves grabbing a handful of mama's hair and NOT letting go
Holds her bottle (at 70%) cause she gets tired and falls asleep while drinking her milk
Since she was only a few weeks old she freakishly has been able to hold her head up non supported
Has the most chill, happy attitude, calm natured-ness that a baby could have. I am one blessed mama!

I don't like that she tries to sit up, rolls half way over and holds her bottle and coos Hi! I want her to stay a baby forever, your old 4 months old!!

I swear you grew taller overnight..

My child is growing up way to fast! I was looking thru pics in my phone and can't contemplate how we got here...she's getting so BIG. And no one ever believes us when we say no she's not 3..yet. I straightened her hair for the first and only time, I love it and don't plan on cutting it anytime soon. I feel like I haven't seen the kid in 2 weeks. She left out of town last weekend with her g-parents and this weekend she had plans to go camping with her Aunty. Next weekend your staying home ;)
I'm glad my baby girl is surrounded by people that love her..and that's all that matters.

UPDATE ON THE RASMUSSENS:

SO..
I haven't been blogging for a while which is extremely {not me} I blog all the time..about anything big or small. To me, it's like my online journal.
I haven't been able to blog. My laptop is having some issues..
And I've been so busy, I haven't even had a chance to take it to the computer shop to have it looked at. But I must admit..It's been kinda nice taking a break. Cause I feel like with my own life I can't even keep up with the {blogging} and recording everything we do, because every weekend were doing {someting}!
So my laptop is still currently out of comish until I decide to go and get it fixed. So here's a quick update:
*We've been doing some camping,swimming,bon fires,bbq's "just plain enjoying summer!"
*Devie's been to Lagoon with her grandparents almost every weekend this summer (In fact, she just left with them this morning to go *again* that girl..she is spoiled!
*We are going up tomorrow and meeting up with them at Lagoon. I'd rather wait til sunday so I can use my work discount and only pay $50 bucks for me & rob rather than $80 something. So were excited we finally get to go lol! (Rob has been working 6 or 7 days a week..12 hours..so we aren't always free to go.
*Devie-Is just the best little 2 year old I know. (ofcourse I'd say that right..I'm her mom) She has her days..don't get me wrong. But she is just so good, she knows we work..she tries to help the nanny with the baby. She absolutely adores her baby sister. She thinks she's the neatest thing..ever! Sometimes she forgets she's not as durable as her dolls..so she needs to be a little gentler with her arms and legs! lol! But she truly is the best kid. She loves to play outside..you can't get the girl to come in the house! So were sad summer time is ending. Fortunately we've had her cousin summer with us for the whole summer *they are bestfriends* they've had a blast..I know she's gonna be sad when summer goes back to her dads house and we only get to see her every other weekend and on weds. Cause they've had a blast playing all summer long! Yesterday I took them to the splash pad..and it was so fun and it was REALLY hot! I love just spending quality time with Devie and let her know she's "important" too!
*Khlo'e..our little Khla-naynay. "Nayners" She's accumulating a million nick names just like her sister! Tell me how..because how many can you possibly come up with when your name is Khlo'e. Welp..every member of our family I swear has a different name they call her. And they call her them religiously..every time they see her with out fail. LOL! She's gettin so big! She's still such a good baby! *thank you jesus* She pretty much sleeps almost thru the night some nights she'll wake up once to eat and get her bum changed. She is just happy, smiles & giggles. She is calm..and will just sit on your lap and look all around with her *big eyes* she's SUCH a good baby. I don't know any other way to describe her! I'm so blessed to have such good kids! I love them so much!
Some serious things have also happened. Recently one of our family members, got diagnosed with colon cancer. There's plenty of hope. So we have to keep praying! And I'm making sure they get THEE best doctors and care. And I feel really good, and optimistic that they will make it thru this. With our love, support and prayers. *so keep them in your prayers too please* I haven't mentioned who it is..cause they want this to be kept discrete for now. This person is so strong, the most loving kind person. So, its so hard to see them have to go thru this. We just love em! I'm so grateful for all my work I do at the hospital. We have a cancer doc that comes down from the huntsman in salt lake that sees pt's that have ovarian, uterine, and cervical cancer. So we see this stuff first hand and its really scary. But thru my experience I am able to know how to comfort and educate..my family member going thru this even though it isn't "ovarian or uterine cancer" It's still cancer. And that word alone is so strong. I've donated hundreds of dollars out of my own paycheck that would come out monthly to go toward the Utah valley health foundation. It's organizations that those..that help build places like the huntsman. Many people that serve at the hospital..don't get recognition for donating money they worked for helping people..and agree to giving part of that away to help MORE. They do all this without praise and is disclosure or notice. And not a lot of people know this.They are amazing. And I am truly happy to have helped this special cause. It's very close to my heart.
We were planning on buying a house and moving in (in the next couple of months) but due to our family member recently diagnosed and the medical bills that will be rolling in for them, will be really hard. So, without a doubt we are going to stay and help them out until..they are in the clear. Ofcourse, we were excited to get our house..but family means more to me and comes first! And there's no doubt in my mind that this IS the right thing to do..And our house will still be waiting of us, when the time comes.
Last thing I wanted to talk about..that is pretty exciting. That I still can't 100% talk about yet. But something I've been wanting to do. Will finally see the light and sprout! I couldn't be more excited, stressed and happy all at the same time! It's quite a whip lash! And there's SO much to do. Even though you'd think there wouldn't be THAT much to do..but no, there's TONS!But when it comes time..I'll let you all know about my new fun little project..I guess you could call it! :)

Baby Khloè

My Cute Khlo'e. She is 3 mo. old! Sorry it's sideways. I got some cute coo's and squeals out of her! And she DROOLS so much! I don't think I've met a baby her age drool so much! Haha! I love her anyway! She's such a joy to have in our lil fam bam! I love my little chatter box :)

Last night..I wish I would have filmed her..I got her to Giggle & Laugh SO much! It was SOOO Cute! I'll try to capture a video of her laugh..it's just precious!

Back to Work!

So I just finished first week back at work! And it was one heck of a week! I started Monday off pretty sad about not being with my babies. Rob told me he felt bad that I had to go to work and financially it would probably be okay if I wanted to stay home, and as much as I'd love too and it would be a lot snugger on our wallet if I did and probably more stressful...And that I don't want. He works really hard for us and I really want to help out, and I love being able to help contribute to our family financially.
It relieves me that Rob's little sister well she's not so little anymore she's 19. But she is the nanny to our babies. I don't even have to get them out of bed in the morning because she lives in the same house. I trust her 100%. All the grand kids adore her. She is the most fun. And she's watched Devlyn & the other kids so many times..and times when I worked before. So I'm happy that I have someone I love & trust to take care of my babies and that I don't have to worry about. My first day back, was ok besides being super sad being away from my kids. It was great seeing my co-workers again. I love the girls I work for..there amazing they are ALL my work BFF's! We have the best time working together. Out of all the people I've worked with and all the jobs I've had they are the best people I've ever worked with. When I got home, the kids were just fine, happy & ALIVE! This week has been SUPER busy. I'm so glad..We have a schedule going with the kids, with going back to work. And I don't know how, what or who told Khlo'e mama was going back to work but she has been so good for me at night. I put her to bed at10pm and she doesn't wake up till 5:30 which is when I get up in the morning to get ready for work. And she just takes a bottle in her swing and falls back asleep. So that's 7.5 hours of sleep people! And she's only 3 months..how did I get so lucky?! *Knock on wood* I don't want to jinx myself. But I'm so grateful I get sleep! It's amazing!
I've worked so many crappy hours and night shifts before at other jobs..that now, being able to work 4 days a week, 9 hour days, 7:30-5pm. Never past 6pm..so no late nights anymore! I get Fri,Sat,Sun's off always, so 3-day weekends! I feel like I've definitely paid my dues! I've had jobs where me and rob worked opposite shifts and it really took a toll on our marriage because we never got to see each other (he'd come home when I was sleeping, and when he woke up I was leaving to work..) it sucked and it really tested us..but we always were supportive of each other and made it work. So I can't not tell you how happy I am to get 3 day weekends every week and have quality time to spend with my kids. I'm blessed to have such great kids, a wonderful husband, amazing nanny/aunty, great family,true friends, awesome co-workers, and a job to help provide for our family. (Even though I don't like who I work for sometimes..surgeons are brutal!) Ha ha! I'm still grateful...

No I'm not lucky. I'm blessed YES!

Camping

First camping trip of the summer! Was a few weekends ago. My little family (except Baby Khlo'e) she stayed home with her g-parents. And my sister L and her family and our friend Whitley & Nick and there daugther went with us. And ofcourse our little sister Autumn! We camped up at Payson Lakes. It was beautiful. My sister is the best chef, so together we always make the best tin foil dinners. Sir Loin steaks, stacked full of vegetables, and seasonings...there amazing! Sm'ores of course! We've come along way with the way we do OUR smore's. We have tried all kinds of different combinations of using strawberry marsh mellows or coconut marsh mellows or chocolate graham crackers or etc. This trip I brought some "Fruity Tootie" marsh mellows they were so yummy. My favorite is strawberry marsh mellows..tastes like chocolate covered strawberries! We call them our "gourmet smo'res". We had a great time. Dev was so into being in the woods..she'd just go out and follow her cousins into the bushes and didn't care about getting dirty and had so much fun. My husband is definitely the "camping guy" he's like that guy Bear on that nature survival show. He always starts the fires, or doing stuff like boiling water in a water bottle over a fire. The next day we all went down to the lake and played. One of our most favorite things to do is camp.

Can't wait to go again!

Wendover & Lagoon :)

We celebrated our 6 year Anniversary in Wendover.
We had so much fun with our friends *Whitley & Nick*. When we got to our room however it was so hot! I mean "sweating my make up off..Hot!" lol. So I called the front desk and they sent the maintenance man and he told us he had to replace the AC, so the manager said she'd move us to another room and only charge us half price for the room. (I either get free rooms or never pay full price for rooms..and I don't do it on purpose it just happens every time, the last time they booked us in a room where someone already was staying so we got our room for free lol) Our new room was so cold and felt sooo good! I played the tables for the first time and it was so much fun (minus the asian lady that thought I was card counting..because I was UP "winning" and decided to stop) And grumbled that I couldn't stop until the deck was done..so I kept playing and lost my winnings..that mean lady, cause I found out it was NOT true..I could have stopped any time..guess that's what I get for letting her intimidate me & being an amateur..I know better for next time lol! Anyways, I won $230 off a slot machine which was cool too! I played Roulette for the first time too. I love Wendover..gambling, free drinks, slots & buffets!But I was missing our babies so much! This was the first time Khlo'e was away from me more than a few hours, so I could not wait to see them both! They went with there grandparents and family to Lagoon. Devie had SO much fun! It's ALL she talked for the next few days. She was just TALL enough to ride most of the big rides, including her favorite Rattle snake rapids! She told me how she got wet & etc..etc..I saw a pic from when she got off the ride and she was SOAKED from head to toe! And her gparents said she wasn't even scared and wanted to go on again. She got a bounce back pass and keeps asking when she can go back. So we'll have to take her soon.

Adults had fun..check! Kids had a blast..check! Everyone is safe (mom can stop worrying) check! check!

Happy Daddy's Day (late posting)

Happy Daddy's Day!!

Father's Day morning was funny because both girls woke up at the same time. Dev jumped into our bed (than onto her daddy) Than I got Khlo'e out of her bassinet. So she could cuddle with Daddy too.
I coached & whispered into Devie's ear what to say:
Devie: Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you! Thanks for being my Daddy!"
Devie (uncoached): "Daddy? Now when is it MY birthday!!?"

Daddy got a card from us, t-shirts & undershirts, and cologne and lots of hugs & kisses!

We love our Daddy & Everything he does for us and for just being Daddy!
