2 weeks old!!!

my sweet lil khlo'e robby ♥
2 weeks old.

*weighs 7lbs. 9oz. (made it back up to her birth weight and than some!)
*length is 19.5 inches long (grew half an inch!)
*is such a good little eater (eats 3 oz of bmilk every 3-4 hours)
*found out that when mommy eats beef n broccoli it makes baby a little gassy! lol!
*sleeps at night in intervals of 3-4 hours (which is pretty good for a breast fed baby..one night she slept for 5!)
*loves her Binky
*loves her swing
*loves sitting in her bouncer and looking around
*likes to be swaddled
*when she is hungry..she's hungry!!!
*when she needs to be changed..she'll do a little scream and let you know she does!
*hates getting her bum or clothes changed
*she thinks baths are better than sponge baths
*makes funny faces, noises and grunts to let you know she's there
*smiles in her sleep...and loves to cuddle with mama!

Eats,sleeps and poops..it's a hard job..but somebody has to do it! ;)

2 year olds....

I feel like this is another "edition related to my other blog" cause it was about my 2 year old daughter Devlyn and this one is going to be the same, I figure I should write down what she does before I forget!

So..of course, she wouldn't look up at me to take a picture..but what's new? ;)
So long story short. My brother in law's,girlfriend's,niece *wow..you still following me?*
Came over to play while my b.i.l. & his girlfriend and other family helped her mom move. This girl is the same age as Devlyn maybe even a few months older. However, They go upstairs..and Devlyn has her kitchen and toys and Delvyn says to her "This is my kitchen...and it's okay if you want to play with it." than points to her bird cage with cockatiels and says "and these are my babies"..."there birds." the little girl goes whats that? and Dev says "Oh that's there food!" talking about the bird seeds.
She loves playing with other kids, even kids a little older than her..it does not take her long to make instant friends (hm..wonder where she gets that from..ha ha!) I love what little kids say together when they play. There little brains are just going!

What a natural! ;)

How fun! Khlo'e got to be a baby model for LD photography & to promote "new creations" line of newborn photography props that will be sold on etsy.com. Crocheted hats and accessories. The photographer/owner is Lindsay Dyches of LDphotography. Besides photography and making and selling photography props, she also makes lots of other baby items. My friend ordered me a cute Zebra print "hooter hider" for breast feeding, that Lindsay made and it's sooo cute!
The photo shoot went better than I anticipated. She was so sweet and patient with Khlo..you could just tell she was a pro, she just picked up Khlo'e and rocked her to sleep and had a soothing noise monitor and heater going so she'd be nice and warm during her nakey shots. All the hats/blankets/props all lined up and ready to go. Khlo'e pooped twice *in her diaper* thank goodness! Linds told us not to worry about it that if she did have an accident when we did her nakey shots that it happens..lol! But *phew* cause she didn't have any accidents! As soon as she got Khlo in a deep sleep...I was amazed at how she was able to put her into the different hats, positions or basket props and etc.. all while she was fast asleep! She definitely had her own technique and tricks..I called her "the baby whisperer." ha ha! This was such a fun shoot..she made us feel so comfortable and just watching her take pics of K in the cute little hats..made me even more excited to see these pictures when there done..they will be done in a week! I can't wait! And the best part is..because she was used as a baby model the session was FREE!

So we weren't going to Moab this year Because Khlo'e was due the Saturday before Easter. But since she came early and I was feeling great and she was doing good (Her bili levels looked good and were dropping) we got the ok to go down for the day. So we packed up some overnight bags and left. You may think were crazy..traveling with a newborn..even if it is just a few hours away (I thought we were! ha ha!) But she was so good..just slept the whole ride down..we only stopped once to feed and change her. And same on the way home. We have a plug converter thing so I was able to pump-on-the-go! :) The only times Khlo'e would fuss were for two things..to be fed & changed, she was on her best baby behavior..wish we could say the same for her sister! ;) We had lunch in the park it was such a nice day, we let Khlo'e sun bathe for a little while to help with her jaundice, than we went to the off-roading show and raffle than we went back to the hotel and I fed and changed Khlo'e and put her to bed & Autumn got Devski ready and they just chilled and watched tv and ate dinner while Rob & I went to eat dinner at the Moab Brewery..we've always wanted to eat there every time we go down, but never ended up going so that was nice..except I started to worry that maybe the girls were being too much for there aunty..I don't know why..she watches Devski all the time..maybe it was "new baby" feelings..but still we got our Entree's to go. and on the way out I got some cotton candy gelato! And when we got back to the hotel..everyone was asleep :) The next morning before we headed home, we did some shopping on main street and than Rob wanted to show us "Dead horse point" It was such a beautiful view! We had such a great little over-nighter trip! We can't wait till next year when we'll be able to do trails! :D
