Devlyn & Khlo'e

Cute Sisters!
I must say..We're so proud of Devlyn. She's adapted so well to having her Baby sister here. She isn't mean or rough with her..she's so gentle and soft. She loves to give her sweet soft kisses on the head and rubs her nose against baby sister's soft skin. Dev will ask to hold Khlo'e and just sit and watch her. When Mom or Dad have Khlo'e she doesn't get jealous..but knows were taking care of sister. We've tried really hard to make Devlyn feel included and not forgotten about..and so has her grandparents and aunts..so it's really helped out a lot! The only thing I can think of is when Devlyn is being a typical 2 year old..she gets a little bit of handful! And we have another baby to look after and not just her..but were a great team and make it work! I love that they will always have each other..I know what it's like to have such a strong bond with my sister..it's so special. They've only known each other for such a short time..But Devlyn completely adores her sister..she's already sooo protective of her. And is such a great helper..she grabs diapers,wipes,blankets anything I need for Khlo'e she's willing to do! Devlyn may act like a typical 2 year old and she's allowed..don't get me wrong. Ok two year olds aren't mature..but Devlyn is, if there was such a thing..there are times when she isn't being a typical 2 year old and she is very smart, and thoughtful and comprehends things that other 2 year old's wouldn't. When I had Khlo'e and Devlyn came to the hospital to meet her Baby sister she said "Mommy, the baby come out?" "Did the doctor have to cut yo belly to get the baby out?" "And put a bandaid on it?" See..that's what I'm talking about. By how she asks the certain questions she asks or statements she makes. I had to tell her No, the Dr. didn't cut mama's belly..but didn't know how to tell her she came out from down there..so we left it at that. But still how did she come up with "how khlo'e came out of mommy?" Sometimes, I feel bad..because of her comprehension and how smart she is..and forget she's just 2 sometimes, and I am way too hard on her at times..So, Mommy needs to remember to check herself. I was so worried about Dev being jealous and act out when her baby sister came along..because that's what everyone said she would probably do. Well they were wrong. And I'm sooo proud of her, Because she's such a good older sister! She loves her baby sister so much..and I can't wait to see there bond grow over the years......


I love my girls sooo much! They will always be my little girls.....

Scentsy

We got a bunch of scents dropped off at our house..So Me & Dev smelled most of them and picked some out some new scents we haven't ordered before. This is what we got. P.S. Seeing Dev open and smell these lemme just say were......hilarious! It was like she was sniffing so hard she was gonna suck it out of the little jars lol!



I've been wanting to get this one for a while now. I ordered it with the girls bedroom in mind! How cuuute! :)

I just went with a plain red one that will be for the Living Room. I thought it would be a nice Pop of color...

Dev & I picked out 6 different scents/Bars:
*Kahiko hula-This one is very tropical..thought it would be perfect for Summer Time.
*Lucky in Love-I don't know how to describe this one :(
*Newborn Nursery-Smells like baby powder & fresh clean linens.
*Sweet Pea & Vanilla-Smells like the name.
*Love story-Smells like VS Love spell.
*Sugar Cookie-smells just like the name.

Wal-mart Beauty Haul

Got some new tweezers & razor to do my eyebrows..there looking scary..and I usually get them waxed..but I'm in the mood to do them myself. So I got these, I misplaced my zebra print tweezers..so I just got these ones for a few dollars..they'll get the job done..and the razor to help get fine hairs about my brow..So hopefully tomorrow I'll find some time to do them and have some pretty eyebrows :)
I haven't worn mascara for a while..because of my false lashes. But I took them off 2 weeks ago, and meaning to go get them done again, but until then..I really wanted to try this Mascara..I've heard it's amazing. Guess we'll see!
Next, I got a 11 brush kit..Just under 1o dollars. Has all the basic brushes I need. I was meaning to order some online..but I'm the kind of person that if I can get what I need {now} instead of waiting for it in the mail. I will. Guess..I'm too impatient..I don't know...

So this is what the case looks like when you open it. Has a little mirror in there. I like the case mostly, because you can store them in there and it's compact.

This isn't the best picture to show the color..But, I will do a Nail review on it soon..and will have better pictures. But this is from there "French Affair" line in the color: Not so nice. It's a very pretty light purple color. I can't wait to do my nails with this tomorrow..when the babies are napping! :D
REVLON creme eyeshadow in "Precious Metals" I've heard great things about this little palette. I'm excited to try it..usually I'm not a fan of creme eyeshadow anythings..but I've seen a video review on this..and it was pretty much..fabulous! And again it has a pretty gold color..which I love!
$1 Bon Bons Nail polish..To add to Devlyn's collection. She just has mini-bottles..how cute! Today I painted one hand in pink and one in turquoise..per her request. Than she wanted to paint mine..and I said how about you do daddy's..and so he let her..than when she went to play in her room..he took it off, so she wouldn't see him removing it and it wouldn't hurt her feelings..what a nice daddy. Guess mommy's just mean..I just flat out said no thanks, and volunteered her dads nails..lol!
OK! This is one of my favorite things that I got! EYE DEF glitter eyeshadow in this pretty gold color by Hard Candy.
Swatch. I haven't used it on my eyes yet, but I just swatched it on my hand..It's the most shimmery bold gold color! I love it!! It doesn't stay wet or greasy like others do..it's wet than dries almost instantly..how freakin cool! And Gold is one of my favorite eyeshadow colors!

2 year olds.........

The other day we were at the grocery store and Devie got a candy bar. Well when we were getting the groceries in the car she was running around and jumping up and down...what we call "getting her wiggles out" than I put her in the car and she said "Mommy, can I have my candy?" I said "If you can be quiet, and be good for 5 minutes, I'll give it to you."(were asking just 5 minutes here people..in exchange for candy..mom just needed 5 minutes of quiet..deal breaker? or too much to ask? lo!) 1 minute later.. "Mommy, can I have my candy?" I said again.. "Yes, just be good and quiet for 5 minutes.
Than she says "OK MOM! OK! TAKE IT EASY!!" Rob & I looked at each other and just busted up laughing. I said "Did she just tell me to take it easy!?!" Oh wow. When did we get here?


Devie says:
"Hey big dude!"
"Can I hold you?" which means..can you hold me? We've "tried" correcting her...Lol!
"Stay away from my sister! Don't touch her! Don't even think about it!! Never!!"
"Perfect!"
"DAD!! THERE'S YOUR JEEP!"
"Momma's car! *points to it* Daddy's car !*points to it*
"Don't say that! That's not a nice word!" *shakes her finger at her baby dolly*

P.S. I've never met a kid..with so many nicknames...but her most common on a daily basis is: Dev, Devie, Devski, Monkers,Boo Boos, and the newest her aunty autumn gave her when she's being not so nice "Dev's alter ego" we call "Jerklyn" hhhhaaha!!

Yes..I had to do it! We got this around Halloween before we had Devie and I saved it. I'm so glad I did cause she looked so freakin cute on Easter wearing this! These pictures are definitely keepers when she gets older..let's say Highschool! Hahahha!

Meet the newest addition to the RASMUSSEN Ohana!

We would love for you to meet..our newest addition to our family:
KHLO'E ROBBY MEI RASMUSSEN was born on April 16,2011 at 7:08 am weighed 7lbs. 2oz & 19 inches long. We absolutely adore her..she's so little and dainty and just a little princess. We definitely didn't expect her to be so small. We're loving the fact that we'll get to experience having a "newborn" stay little for a bit! ;) Labor was 17 hours long. I was induced at 39 weeks. At 6am I went from 6cm to 10cm in a half hour, and was ready to start pushing..I was surrounded by some of the most special people in my life..My husband Rob, My mother in law Kathy, My sisters L & Autumn were there for the birth. With literally only two pushes..I gave birth to this beautiful baby girl. I can't tell you how blessed we feel, to have had two healthy beautiful baby girls. It's more than we could ever have hoped for. I love my family so much..I pray to god everyday and thank him for putting them in my life. They mean the world to me....
