DEVLYN IS TWO!!! WOO HOO!!!

Some call her....... Devie, Dev, Devster, Devy Chevy, Monkers, Dublin, BOO BOO but whatever nickname you use.. DEVLYN TAYE HALEAKA RASMUSSEN just turned 2 years old!! Such a big girl!!

From the time you were born..You never stopped surprising your Mom & Dad. You are the best gift we have ever received..
OK im your MOM. So this is forever LONG..But i hope one day you will be able to read this:

Devie, You are so sweet, kind and loving. You always say "Please & Thank you!!" You know how to sing yourself the "Happy Birthday Song" You can do sommersalts and swing off of bars and anything you can get your hands on...you a little monkey! You are so daring and not afraid to do something..even if you could get hurt...little dare devil! You run around nakey..Uh oh, don't do that when your older ;) You share your hugs & kisses...even though SOMETIMES there not always free, you exchange them for pieces of candy..lol. I look forward to your kisses in the mornings and kisses good night and hugs, and when i tell you "i love you baby" you tell me "I love you toooo! mom!" I love it when you kiss mama's belly and say "baby's in there!" "baby getting bigger and bigger than COME OUT! yeah mom!?!" you crack me up..You are going to be a wonderful big sister! You are such a good little helper! whether it's helping your grandma with washing the dishes, trying to help cook or grabbing diapers or bottles for your younger cousins. You have the attitude of a 5 year old, and you have your OWN way of doing things. You are so smart, sometimes it scares mom & dad, how much you seem to know, when we think you don't because your only 2 years old..I love how passionate you are about things you like and love, even if it's as simple as your favorite tv show, a baby doll or your love for animals. How you love your family so much! You bring such JOY into our lives. I love how you always challenge us to make us better parents. I love when you fall asleep on me, I love your smile, I love your evil laugh, I love your curls, I love your kissy lips..MOST I love your personality..It's truly one of a kind! We love everything about you Devlyn Taye Haleaka Rasmussen...Your two years old now. Don't ever be too cool for your parents k, and keep being the funny,goofy,smart,loving,kind,daring (not too daring) little girl that we love and know. We are so blessed to have you as a daughter! Dearest Grandma,
I could never put into words, of how thankful, how grateful I am towards you... For everything you have done for me. For loving me, for teaching me, for guiding me, taking care of me, raising me as your own. I could never repay you..Thank you, for loving me for me and letting me be myself. I will never forget all of the memories we shared. I will not forget your smile, your laugh, your kind ways, your stories, your cooking..the list is endless. Thank you for all the lessons you've taught me & work ethic you've instilled in me, for constantly wanting me to strive to be a better person and the desire to want to be a wonderful mother to my children, because you have showed me that it's possible. That even though life's toughest hours, We should pray and thank our heavenly father and do what we need to do to return to him someday and in return he will bless us. I love you so much..I know this is for certain, that you loved me, And, I loved you.. I can't be mad..And I'm only sad, because I miss you...I won't stop missing you until I see you again. I'm scared..Because I don't know what I'm going to do with out you, without your guidance..But I know you left me a strong, independent young woman and you know we are strong enough to make it through, and you wouldn't have left us, unable,incapable, or too weak, to move on until we meet again. :::Bebe Update::

I am 16 weeks pregnant!!!

New things that has been happening:
-I'll start with the most special first.. Ok, so I forgot how amazing it is to feel your baby move inside your belly..The first movement caught me off guard, it felt like a huge quick flutter of a butterfly. I feel her move more often now, and there quick, strong small movements..it's becoming more real that there's a occupant in my belly :)

ody, I've been loosing weight, but I think it's stopped because my "abdomen area" is becoming quite round..the baby bump is definitely there now and my boobs are getting bigger!..yay! lol.

nd my cravings are off and on, sometimes I will be able to say *this* is what i want to eat, and *that* eww is not what i want..and other times *nothing* sounds good at all...
-I haven't thrown up since I was in my first trimester which is awesome! I am {now} in my second trimester!

eing pregnant, my mood is sometimes off and on..and i've been sooo tired. I have been told I am a lot less moody and emotional than I was when I was pregnant with Dev, So i guess that's a good thing lol. I do however, cry at the drop of a hat when it comes to watching a sad movie, the water works just turn on!

es!!! we think we have a named picked out for our baby girl that we really like..I'd say were about 99% sure. So when were 100% I'll share it. :) But we both love it, which I thought it would take us a lot longer to agree on a name, but this one we've loved for a long time, it wasn't a right fit when we were pregnant with Devlyn, but with this babe it just seems right... :)

Favorite Radio station I started listening too this month, especially if I'm NOT feeling like listening to the Morning Zoo..on my way to work, but instead just MUSIC.. good MUSIC to put me in a good mood to go to work-
Lipstick: Bare Essentials in "Rock Candy" Love it! Such a pretty color on, the color is actually darker in person.

Finding out the gender of our baby!!! (#1 on our list!) :) :)
Del Sol Nail polish that changes colors indoor and outdoors. Walgreen's 2 for $10 i think...Would make great stocking stuffers :)
One of my favorite seasons we just started watching is Dexter this is Season 1... We're on Season 2 now and it is soooo good!
Halloween silver glitter eyeliner...hello need i say more..AWEsome!
New book I am trying to read in my spare time...LOL. I like it so far, It's like Harry Potter's "Hogwarts" school for wizards, BUT "The house of night" is a school for vampires..that was the closest comparison I can think of.. This is the 1st book "Marked."
Carving pumpkins!! I didn't carve this one, but the one I did carve I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it...it was a cat, just not as cool as this HELLO KITTY one. Rob & Dev did a skull and there pumpkin was gigantic..While helping her dad clean out the pumpkin, Dev sampled the pumpkin goo, I think she liked it...a little too much.. lol

Corn Belly's was fun this year! If you haven't taken your kiddies, I would take them next year, It's pretty fun, I blogged about it and posted pics of some of the activities, fun fun!
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! This stuff is like gold to me! look how pretty the can is....okay to the point---> Everyone that knows me, And if you don't know this you do now. I don't drink caffeinated drinks (long/short story) okay I'm just tired of repeating it and it's not that interesting..let's be honest. But anyways, I love my CAFFEINE FREE PEPSI! This is definitely my new drink of choice :)
Black Uggs!!! I don't actually spend the $100 plus dollars on them, Because, I do just fine with a cheaper brand all winter long..and it saves me money! I got a black pair from Deb this year for *drum roll please* $14.99 ON SALE! :)

My new body pillow! Being a pregnant lady, sleeping has become uncomfortable...ALLready.
BUT, sleeping with my pillow makes sleeping SO much more comfortable now *smiles*

I have the body pillow that I had when I was pregnant with Dev..but i had to retire it. I think the cotton in it is dense. LOL
Trick-O-Treating was fun! We went to the mall, besides the crowds, it was fun and Dev was so cute, she would clearly say "TRICK O TREAT!!!!!!" and eat a piece of candy and move to the next person to get another piece of candy and *repeat* lol, we had to tell her to start putting it in her bag, besides she's trick o treating for mom and dad too!! ;)



So that was some of my "October favorites".....In no particular order, I wrote this pretty fast, so excuse my spastic descriptions and if I have spelling errors..or whatever. I'm running on less than a half tank at this point and soon to be empty, Heading to bed now..I had fun writing this. Enjoy! =) What were YOUR oct favs??

We found some cute onesies for baby at Target.
I love this store, they have such cute baby stuff!
Right now, I'm restricted to buying onesies and sleepers...Baby is due in April in the Spring/Summer season and were in Fall/Winter season. I'm hoping they still have some summer clothes sales out. I did have a lot of girl clothes from Devlyn, but she was born in the opposite season baby will be born in and I gave a lot of clothes to my sister in law that had her two girls (9 months apart) so she put them to good use ;) But I don't mind one bit, because it's a legit reason to go out and buy new baby girl clothes!! Holding these little onesies I had forgotten how small infant clothes are, there so cuuute! *Keep in mind* we flew past newborn clothes with Devlyn she was 9lbs 1 oz. when she was born! (and no, i wasn't gestational diabetic) she was just a big healthy baby! LOL. I wonder how big her little sister will be..hopefully smaller ;)
