Bedtime Stories ♥

Dev said "Dolphin!" than changed and said "Fishie!"
Tutu over her pajamas is a regular thing..Trying to take off her princess dress to take a bath and put on pj's are sometimes impossible. So we have to put the dress over the pj's..little girls I tell ya! ;)

Here she said "Look Mom I colored!" I said yeah Dev you did, but remember these are your story books not coloring books. She didn't care, she just smiled at her "art work."
This was cute she said "Mom, he's hungry..no, he needs a nap!" So funny what there little minds come up with.

So as a family, we are making more of an effort to read before bedtime every night, even if some nights we only have time to read 2 books or 5 books (two times each!). Dev is definitely behind us reading..she picked her books off the shelf and said "read me mom" lol! We used to read when she was younger but she never cared too much or had the patience..so now that she's older and enjoys it, we'll continue to do it. We read Minnie Mouse books, that are short, cute stories. Dev can tell you every character (pluto,mickey,donald,daisy and etc.) she's so smart! We've done pretty good so far. Dev loves having us read to her, and it gets her in a better mood to go to bed. We plan on picking up some new books, that are a little longer to read at bed time, this weekend :)




Sleep tight....don't let the bed bugs bite!
